Samsung raises Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 prices across global markets

New foldable lineup launches with higher price tags, regional pre-order offers and AI subscription benefits.

Samsung Electronics has announced global pricing for its latest Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 smartphones, with all three foldable devices launching at higher prices than their predecessors.

The pricing was revealed during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event, where Samsung introduced its next-generation foldable lineup featuring upgraded hardware, redesigned form factors and enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 starts at $1,200 in the United States for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, marking a $100 increase over the previous Galaxy Z Flip7. The 512GB variant is priced at $1,400.

Samsung’s newly introduced Galaxy Z Fold8, which adopts a wider foldable design, starts at $1,900 for the 256GB model. The 512GB version costs $2,100, while the flagship 1TB model with 16GB RAM is priced at $2,500.

The premium Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra also carries a $100 price increase compared with last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7. Pricing begins at $2,100 for the 256GB model, rises to $2,300 for the 512GB version, and reaches $2,700 for the 1TB configuration.

The price increases extend beyond the United States. In the United Kingdom, the Galaxy Z Flip8 starts at £1,150, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra begin at £1,700 and £1,900, respectively.

Across Europe, Samsung has priced the Galaxy Z Flip8 from €1,300, the Galaxy Z Fold8 from €2,000, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra from €2,200.

In India, pricing starts at ₹125,000 for the Galaxy Z Flip8, ₹180,000 for the Galaxy Z Fold8, and ₹200,000 for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

Despite the higher prices, Samsung is offering several regional launch promotions. In the United States, buyers can receive discounts of up to $200 on select models, while UK, European, Indian and Australian customers also have access to promotional offers, trade-in bonuses or instant bank discounts depending on their market.

The company has also included a complimentary six-month subscription to Google AI Pro, which provides access to advanced AI features and 5TB of cloud storage, with eligible pre-orders.

Samsung’s latest foldables are available for pre-order immediately, with deliveries expected to begin after the promotional period concludes later this month.
