Samsung has officially begun rolling out the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update for its budget-friendly Galaxy A series devices — the Galaxy A06 4G and Galaxy A07 4G.

The update is currently available in select Asian markets and brings a refreshed software experience, improved system performance, and enhanced security features tailored for affordable Galaxy phones.

Firmware Versions and Rollout Regions

The latest One UI 8 rollout includes firmware version A065FXXU7CYJ8 for the Galaxy A06 4G and firmware version A075FXXU1BYJA for the Galaxy A07 4G. As of now, the update is being gradually released to users in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, with Samsung expected to expand availability to other regions in the coming days.

Both updates require a download size of around 2.3GB, so users are advised to connect to a stable Wi-Fi network and ensure sufficient battery before installation.

Security Patch Versions

While both smartphones receive the new One UI 8 features, there is a slight difference in security patches. The Galaxy A06 4G receives the September 2025 Android security patch, whereas the Galaxy A07 4G is updated with the October 2025 security patch. This suggests Samsung may prioritize newer releases slightly higher in its update lineup.

Device Prices and Market Position

The Galaxy A06 4G remains a popular option for budget buyers, priced around:

64GB + 4GB RAM — ~$102.87 / €89.99

128GB + 4GB RAM — ~$115 / €99.99

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A07 4G, offering a slightly upgraded feature set, retails for:

64GB + 4GB RAM — ~$139.99

128GB + 4GB RAM — ~$144.99

These competitive prices make the A-series lineup a key contender in the entry-level smartphone segment.

How to Update Manually

If you own a Galaxy A06 4G or Galaxy A07 4G and haven’t received the update notification yet, you can check manually by navigating to:

With this rollout, Samsung continues its commitment to offering timely major software updates, even for its lower-priced devices — strengthening the Galaxy A series’ appeal among budget-conscious Android users.
