Samsung has officially released the third beta update of its upcoming One UI 8 software for Galaxy S25 series users in select regions.

The new update, sized at approximately 1.2GB, is now available to beta testers in the UK, India, Germany, and South Korea. Meanwhile, users in the United States and Poland are expected to receive the update later today.

The latest One UI 8 beta brings a host of bug fixes and performance enhancements aimed at improving user experience ahead of the stable release. Key issues addressed include a visual glitch where the recent apps screen would overlap with the active app, and an unintentional keyboard input issue occurring during reboot on the Secure Folder PIN input screen. Additionally, Samsung has resolved a swipe gesture-related text input error.

Users had previously reported long delays when accessing the Mode/Routine menu—this update significantly reduces those wait times. Moreover, Galaxy S25 Ultra users will be pleased to find that S Pen text input errors have now been eliminated.

Samsung’s changelog also lists several other software optimizations and general performance improvements, although specific details remain limited.

There is increasing speculation that this could be the final beta version before the official rollout of One UI 8. Rumors suggest that Samsung plans to launch the stable version of One UI 8 earlier than expected, possibly aligning it with the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.

However, Samsung has yet to confirm a definitive timeline for the official release. Until then, Galaxy users participating in the beta program can expect ongoing improvements as the tech giant continues to fine-tune its software.

With One UI 8 promising a smoother, more efficient Android experience, anticipation is building for its full rollout across Samsung’s flagship and premium devices later this year.
