Samsung has stirred excitement among tech enthusiasts with a teaser for its upcoming Galaxy foldable smartphones.

The company recently hinted at an “Ultra experience” in its press release, fueling speculation that a new Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra might be in the works.

Phrases such as “Ultra experience is ready to unfold” and “an Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features” led many to believe that Samsung would unveil a premium “Ultra” variant of its foldable lineup. However, new reports suggest otherwise.

Renowned tech tipster Max Jambor has clarified that the teaser was more about building anticipation than unveiling an entirely new model. According to Jambor, there will be no separate Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, at least not this summer. Instead, Samsung is expected to incorporate the “Ultra” features directly into the standard Galaxy Z Fold7, delivering a high-end experience without launching an additional device.

This means that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will likely feature three foldable devices: the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, and the more affordable Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.

While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the event’s date, industry insiders suggest it will take place in early July in New York. With the launch just weeks away, more details about the devices and their specifications are expected to emerge soon.

Samsung’s decision to integrate advanced features into the regular Fold7 rather than introduce a separate “Ultra” model could streamline its product lineup and reduce consumer confusion. It also signals a stronger commitment to refining the foldable experience across all tiers.

As the foldable smartphone market continues to evolve, Samsung appears to be focusing on meaningful upgrades and a more unified brand message. Fans can look forward to a flagship-level Fold7, a stylish Flip7, and a budget-friendly Flip7 FE—all possibly set to debut next month.
