Samsung Electronics has announced plans to unveil its latest lineup of kitchen appliances at CES 2026, placing a strong focus on advanced vision-based artificial intelligence.

The upcoming range will include refreshed versions of its Bespoke AI refrigerator, over-the-range (OTR) microwaves, and slide-in ranges, all designed to deliver smarter functionality and a more seamless kitchen experience.

According to Samsung, the new appliances feature meaningful upgrades to vision-based AI powered by Google Gemini and supported by Google Cloud. These improvements aim to simplify everyday tasks, enhance personalization, and make smart kitchens more intuitive for users. Samsung executives highlighted that this collaboration represents a major step forward in applying AI technology to home appliances.

At the center of the showcase will be the new Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, which introduces an upgraded AI Vision system. This marks the first time Google Gemini has been integrated into a refrigerator.

Previously, the AI Vision feature could recognize a limited number of fresh and pre-registered processed foods. The new version significantly expands recognition capabilities, allowing the refrigerator to identify more food items automatically, including processed foods without manual registration.

Samsung also plans to enable recognition of user-labeled items, such as food stored in personal containers. With more accurate ingredient identification, users can manage food inventories more easily and enjoy a more personalized kitchen experience. Samsung will demonstrate new AI Vision use cases at CES 2026, offering a glimpse into the future of intelligent kitchens.

In addition, Samsung will introduce the Bespoke AI Wine Cellar, featuring similar AI Vision technology powered by Google Gemini. A built-in camera will recognize wine labels as bottles are stored or removed, automatically updating the SmartThings AI Wine Manager. The system can track bottle locations and provide wine details and pairing suggestions, making wine organization more convenient and personalized.

Samsung is also refreshing the design of its kitchen lineup with a unified stainless-look aesthetic. New French Door refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and OTR microwaves will feature updated designs for a cohesive kitchen appearance. Highlights include a slimmer refrigerator design with zero-clearance installation, AutoView transparent doors, redesigned slide-in ranges with enhanced safety features, and new OTR microwaves with improved ventilation systems.

Together, these innovations underscore Samsung’s push to combine advanced AI, modern design, and everyday practicality in the smart kitchen of the future.
