Samsung has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, once again raising the bar in the premium smartphone category.
With an impressively slim profile of just 5.8mm and a lightweight build of only 163 grams, the S25 Edge is a stunning blend of elegance and cutting-edge technology.
To achieve such a sleek design, Samsung has slightly scaled back on battery capacity, opting for a 3,900 mAh cell. While this may not be the largest battery on the market, it still supports 25W wired charging, enabling the device to charge up to 55% in approximately 30 minutes. However, users will need to purchase the charger separately, as it is not included in the box. For added convenience, the phone also supports wireless charging, making it easier for users to stay powered up on the move.
One of the Galaxy S25 Edge’s most striking features is its 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, offering QHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz. Protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the screen promises vivid colors, deep contrast, and robust durability—perfect for content consumption and mobile gaming.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, exclusively optimized for Samsung’s Galaxy devices. Paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage options, the phone offers blazing-fast performance and seamless multitasking, even when running demanding apps.
Photography is another strong point. The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 200 MP main rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Samsung touts its “2x optical quality zoom,” ensuring detailed and crisp shots. Additionally, the phone includes a 12 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, ideal for macro photography. A 12 MP front camera with the same aperture handles selfies and video calls with ease.
The device runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s latest One UI 7, providing a polished and intuitive user experience. It also includes IP68 certification for water and dust resistance and boasts a durable titanium frame.
Available in Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue, the Galaxy S25 Edge starts at $1,099 and is currently available for pre-order. Samsung is offering a free upgrade to 512GB storage for early buyers, with attractive trade-in deals and deliveries beginning May 30. The S25 Edge is poised to become a favorite among Android enthusiasts seeking style and performance.
