Karachi, May 13, 2025 – Port Qasim remains a vital hub of maritime activity as shipping operations continue in full swing, ensuring the smooth flow of imports and exports critical to Pakistan’s economy.

According to the updated shipping operations report released at 0800 hours on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the port handled several significant vessel movements over the past 24 hours.

The bustling operations at Port Qasim included the berthing, sailing, and shifting of key vessels, underscoring the port’s strategic role in national and regional trade. These daily updates help stakeholders, logistics companies, and shipping agents plan and execute their cargo movements efficiently.

Two vessels sailed from the port: M.V MSC TANIA departed from berth QT2-II at 12:30 PM, and M.V PAOLO TOPIC set sail from PIBT at 3:30 PM. The departure of these vessels highlights the port’s ability to handle large-scale shipping operations swiftly and safely.

On the berthing front, the LNG carrier M.T MILAHA RAS LAFFAN was docked at Engro Elengy Terminal (EETL) carrying a substantial cargo of 135,931 metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Additionally, two more vessels, M.V BLUE AKIHABARA and M.V VALENCE, were berthed at HFP&S-IV and QT2-I, respectively, further demonstrating the port’s dynamic handling capacity.
