The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 appear to be nearing their official launch, with new retailer listings surfacing online.

According to reports, Italian retailers have started posting preliminary product pages, offering a sneak peek at both models—despite Samsung’s efforts to conceal details by using internal codenames.

Samsung has reportedly labeled the Galaxy Z Fold7 as “Q7” and the Galaxy Z Flip7 as “B7”, likely in an attempt to avoid premature leaks. However, Dutch publication NieuweMobiel managed to identify these devices through an Italian e-commerce platform, effectively uncovering potential pricing details.

Based on these listings, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will carry a starting price of €2,227 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model will retail at €2,309. These prices include Italy’s standard 22% VAT, signaling a significant price increase of approximately €200 compared to the previous generation.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to retail for around €100 more than its predecessor for the 512GB variant. While pricing for other configurations of the Z Flip7 remains unknown, the notable increase hints at broader pricing adjustments across the lineup.

Although these leaks have stirred excitement, they should still be treated with caution. Price hikes of this magnitude—especially for the Galaxy Z Fold7—may seem surprising without accompanying hardware upgrades or new features.

However, industry insiders speculate that Samsung may offset these increases with the rumored release of the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, a more affordable foldable expected to debut alongside the flagship models.

With the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 expected to launch in the coming weeks, fans can anticipate official confirmation soon. These early price leaks may provide a realistic glimpse of what’s to come, but only time will tell if Samsung’s latest foldables will justify the rising costs in the competitive smartphone market.
