Riyadh – Saudi Arabia achieved its strongest first-half performance in non-oil exports, reaching 307 billion riyals (approximately 81.87 billion U.S. dollars) in the first six months of 2025, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Tuesday.
Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, described the figure as the highest semiannual growth on record, highlighting the kingdom’s ongoing push to diversify its economy.
Speaking at the Made in Saudi Expo 2025, Al-Khorayef noted that initiatives under Saudi Vision 2030 have significantly boosted non-oil exports. “Efforts to strengthen industrial capabilities, enhance product quality, and expand access to global markets have been central to this growth,” he said.
For comparison, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports totaled approximately 515 billion riyals in 2024, marking a 13 percent increase over 2023 and setting a record annual figure.
The third edition of the Made in Saudi Expo 2025 opened Monday in Riyadh, featuring Syria as the Guest of Honor. The three-day exhibition runs through Wednesday, showcasing more than 25 workshops and over 50 planned memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aimed at boosting industrial and trade partnerships.
The strong non-oil export performance underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to reduce reliance on oil revenues and strengthen its position as a global trade and investment hub.
