KARACHI, March 9, 2026: Sazgar Engineering Works Limited, one of Pakistan’s leading motor vehicle manufacturers, announced on Monday its plans to acquire commercial land in Lahore valued at Rs1.47 billion.
In a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Sazgar revealed that the company intends to purchase a 5.07-kanal commercial plot located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Lahore. The transaction marks a significant investment in expanding the company’s operational footprint in the country’s business hub.
The company has authorized its Chief Executive Officer to negotiate and finalize the terms of the purchase, as well as complete all legal formalities required for the acquisition. The move demonstrates Sazgar’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure and presence in key commercial areas.
Founded in 1991, Sazgar has established itself as a household name, particularly for 3-wheeler vehicles and automotive wheel rims for the tractor industry. Over the decades, the company has grown into a public limited company with one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Pakistan, and it maintains a global presence in more than 20 countries.
