Karachi, September 12, 2025 – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday released the latest KIBOR (Karachi Interbank Offered Rates) applicable for September 12, 2025.
These rates, widely regarded as the benchmark for short-term lending among banks, serve as an important reference point for determining the cost of borrowing in the interbank market as well as for corporate financing.
According to the data, most tenors remained stable compared with the previous day, though slight adjustments were observed in some categories. For the 1-week tenor, the bid and offer rates stood unchanged at 10.80 and 11.30 respectively. The 2-week tenor, however, recorded a minor dip, moving from 10.76–11.26 on September 11 to 10.75–11.25 on September 12. Similarly, the 6-month tenor edged up by one basis point on the bid side, now quoted at 10.79 compared to the earlier 10.78.
