According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the KIBOR data is compiled based on submissions from major banks to reflect prevailing interbank lending rates. Minor variations in rates were observed across different tenors, suggesting stable short-term liquidity in the banking system.
Financial experts note that consistent KIBOR trends indicate steady monetary conditions as the market awaits further direction from the upcoming Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decision.
