Karachi, September 30, 2025 – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) released the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR) on Tuesday, reflecting minor adjustments across different tenors compared to the previous day.
These benchmark rates, which guide banks in lending to one another, are closely monitored by businesses, investors, and financial institutions as they influence borrowing costs in the wider economy.
The KIBOR update for September 30, 2025, showed mostly stable movements, with small variations of 1–2 basis points across short and long tenors. For instance, the one-week bid rate stood at 10.88 percent compared to 10.87 percent on Monday, while the one-month tenor slightly eased to 10.83 percent from 10.84 percent. The one-year tenor recorded 10.82 percent versus 10.81 percent previously.
