Selena Gomez brought “goddess energy” to the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday night, stepping onto the red carpet in a dazzling strapless gold beaded Louis Vuitton gown.
The actress and singer walked the red carpet solo ahead of the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, captivating attention in the shimmering creation that flowed into a dramatic floor-length mermaid silhouette.
The gown featured intricate metallic gold beading arranged in a striking circular pattern around the waist, creating a sculpted effect while accentuating Gomez’s figure.
Despite its elaborate appearance, the gown was surprisingly lightweight. Ahead of the ceremony, stylist Zanna Roberts Rassi gave E! a preview of the look and shared a comment from Gomez’s stylist, Erin Walsh, who said the dress looked as though it “weighs a billion pounds” but was actually “light as a feather”.

Gomez elevated the Louis Vuitton gown with an eye-catching selection of Tiffany & Co. jewellery, adding further sparkle to her red-carpet appearance.
Her accessories included a Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Rock by Tiffany bracelet and earrings from the brand’s Feathers High Jewelry collection.
She also wore three Schlumberger rings reportedly valued at $18,000, $65,000 and $26,000, respectively.
For her beauty look, Gomez opted for a relaxed style, wearing her hair loose in casual curls. The hairstyle echoed her appearance during her recent summer trip to Italy with husband Benny Blanco.
It remained unclear whether Blanco attended the ceremony with her, although Gomez made her red-carpet appearance alone.
Selena Gomez makes fourth Emmy appearance
The 2026 ceremony marked Gomez’s fourth Emmy appearance. This year, she is nominated as an executive producer on Only Murders in the Building.
The series is competing in its category against Hacks, Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Nobody Wants This, Shrinking and Widow’s Bay.
Gomez has established a distinctive Emmy red-carpet style over the years, regularly opting for elegant, floor-length silhouettes.
At last year’s ceremony, she wore a vibrant red Louis Vuitton halter gown, while her 2024 appearance saw her step out in a semi-sheer Oscar de la Renta gown embellished with almost half a million sequins.
Gomez continues glamorous 2026 fashion run
Although Gomez has made fewer red-carpet appearances in recent years, 2026 has featured several major black-tie occasions for the star.
She wore a gold Oscar de la Renta gown for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July. She had previously made headlines in a Ralph Lauren halter gown for her own wedding to Benny Blanco in September 2025.
Her latest Emmy appearance added another standout fashion moment to her growing collection, with the gold Louis Vuitton gown giving Gomez one of the evening’s most memorable red-carpet looks.
