Entertainment World

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco kicked off their wedding weekend in Santa Barbara with a glamorous rehearsal dinner that set the tone for their much-anticipated ceremony.

The dinner took place at a historic 1930s mansion owned by Greg Econn, decorated with flower-filled tubs and glowing fairy lights. Guests, including Selena’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin, along with Paul Rudd, were transported by Mercedes buses.

Taylor Swift made a stunning entrance in a motorcade of SUVs after flying in from Kansas City, while staying at the Rosewood Miramar resort in Montecito. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, was absent due to his NFL commitments.

The main ceremony was scheduled at Hope Ranch, a breathtaking 70-acre estate with sweeping Pacific Ocean views. Reports suggested Selena spent nearly $300,000 on security to guarantee privacy and guest safety.

Many in the wedding party checked into the El Encanto resort in Santa Barbara, owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen, where luxury rooms start at $1,000 a night. Paris Hilton was also expected among the high-profile attendees.

Selena and Benny, who first collaborated in 2019, strengthened their bond during the creation of her 2023 hit Single Soon. The couple, engaged since December, made their red carpet debut at the Emmys, confirming their love story was ready for forever.
