Selena Gomez’s cosmetic brand, Rare Beauty, has officially launched at Ulta Beauty, marking a major milestone for the singer and entrepreneur. The launch took place at Ulta’s Segundo, California location, where Gomez expressed her excitement over the brand’s continued growth.
“I came in the other night and it was just, it was one of those surreal moments,” Gomez told People. “It just felt so official.”
Beyond the partnership, Rare Beauty and Ulta are joining forces for charitable initiatives. Customers can choose to donate with any purchase — not just Rare products — with 50% of contributions going to the Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation and the other 50% supporting the Rare Impact Fund, reflecting Gomez’s dedication to community engagement.
“I think that’s the best part — being able to connect with people, and that’s what I’m so excited about,” Gomez said. “This next era will be very much me just embracing everyone, hopefully.”
Gomez also shared insights into her current beauty style, describing it as “flirty” and “classic,” adding that she still feels youthful and inspired.
Rare Beauty, which originally launched in 2020, has steadily expanded its reach, and this collaboration with Ulta marks a significant step in the brand’s journey toward combining beauty with purpose.
