Ed Sheeran is reuniting with Rupert Grint after 14 years for an exciting new project. The global music star has announced a brand-new single titled “A Little More” from his upcoming album Play, and it marks his long-awaited collaboration with the Harry Potter actor.

Sheeran took to Instagram on Monday, August 4, to share the news, revealing that the track will be released on Thursday, August 7, 2025. In his post, the “Azizam” and “Sapphire” singer teased that this might be one of the most beloved songs on his new album.

“14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it,” Sheeran wrote. “It’s an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song.”

The post also included an exciting teaser clip from the upcoming music video. In it, Rupert Grint is seen walking out of prison, disheveled and wearing an orange hoodie with blue pants, his signature red hair unkempt. The visuals suggest a deeper narrative, as flashbacks hint at the story behind his character’s arrest.

As the teaser concludes, the title “A Little More” appears on screen, followed by the official release date: August 7, 2025.

“A Little More” will be the eighth track on Ed Sheeran’s upcoming eighth studio album, Play, which is scheduled to drop on September 12, 2025. The project is already building major buzz, with this unexpected Sheeran-Grint reunion adding a nostalgic twist for longtime fans.

This collaboration marks their first major on-screen project together since Grint famously starred as Sheeran’s lookalike in the 2011 music video for “Lego House.”

With high anticipation surrounding both the track and the quirky video, A Little More is shaping up to be a standout moment from Sheeran’s new era.
