Karachi, March 5, 2025 – The shipping sector at Port Qasim continues to operate efficiently, as the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping activity report for Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

This update, issued at 0800 hours, provides stakeholders with insights into the port’s maritime operations over the past 24 hours.

Vessel Departures

According to Port Qasim, several ships set sail after completing their loading and unloading procedures. The following vessels departed the port:

• M.T-MP MR TANKER 1 (Reg No: 35522), with a length of 183 meters, carried 37,159 metric tons of MOGAS. Departing at 10:30, it was handled by Transmarine at FOTCO terminal.

• M.V-AMERICA (Reg No: 35530), spanning 334 meters, was engaged in container shipping and departed at 11:00, managed by MSC Pakistan at QT2-II berth.

• M.V-VALENCE (Reg No: 35534), measuring 221.70 meters, also participated in container shipping and set sail at 13:30, operated by COSCO SAEED at QICT-V berth.

Vessel Arrivals

In addition to departures, Port Qasim welcomed new vessels arriving for cargo operations. The following ships berthed at the port:

• M.T-DOHA (Reg No: 35536), a 297.50-meter-long LNG carrier, arrived at 12:00 with a cargo of 135,546 metric tons of LNG. The vessel was managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd. and docked at EETL terminal.

• M.T-LIAN SHUN HU (Reg No: 35531), at 229 meters, carried 57,500 metric tons of HSFO and berthed at FOTCO terminal at 13:30, managed by Al-Pine Marine.

• M.V-MAERSK CAIRO, measuring 249 meters, docked at QT2-II berth at 14:00.
