The report, updated at 0800 hours, details vessel movements, shipping operations, and cargo activities over the past 24 hours.
According to the PQA, shipping activity at Port Qasim remained steady, with multiple vessels engaged in loading and unloading operations. The port witnessed the sailing of several vessels, including M.V-ONE RECOMMENDATION and M.V-SSL BRAHMAPUTRA, both carrying large quantities of containerized cargo. These ships departed from their respective berths following successful shipping operations.
Simultaneously, new vessels berthed at the port to facilitate the handling of essential cargo. M.T-LADY OF DORIA arrived carrying a substantial load of Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (LSFO), while M.V-MOL PRESENCE was also accommodated for further shipping operations.
Cargo handling operations remained robust, with significant quantities of goods being processed. The past 24 hours saw a notable volume of cargo movement, including palm oil imports from Indonesia, cement shipments from Madagascar, and bitumen supplies from Jebel Ali. Additionally, containerized cargo activity continued at key berths, ensuring seamless shipping transactions at the port.
