Karachi, March 3, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping activity report for Monday, March 3, 2025, providing crucial updates for shipping stakeholders and businesses engaged in trade operations at the port.
According to the updated report, released at 0800 hours, shipping activities at Port Qasim remained robust over the past 24 hours, with multiple vessels arriving, departing, and loading various cargoes. The port continues to handle significant volumes of imports and exports, ensuring smooth logistics and shipping operations.
Sailing of Vessels: On March 3, several vessels set sail from Port Qasim, transporting key commodities such as acetic acid, palm oil, and motor gasoline. Among the notable departures, M.T-Woojin Frank sailed out with 2,856 metric tons of acetic acid, while M.T-Vitality carried 30,238 metric tons of palm oil. Additionally, M.T-Bolan departed with 57,732 metric tons of motor gasoline, reinforcing the port’s vital role in facilitating fuel trade. The shipping agents managing these vessels ensured smooth departures, keeping up with Port Qasim’s high shipping standards.
Berthing of Vessels: Several ships berthed at Port Qasim on Monday, further boosting shipping activity at the port. M.V-MSC Krystal, a container ship, docked at QT2-II, continuing the steady movement of containerized goods. Meanwhile, M.V-Eleni T, carrying 56,113 metric tons of chickpeas, berthed at QICT-VII, contributing to the ongoing food trade operations. Additionally, M.T-Asia Unity, transporting 27,000 metric tons of palm oil, and M.T-MP MR Tanker 1, carrying 37,159 metric tons of motor gasoline, were successfully berthed at their designated terminals.
