Karachi, June 4, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily report on shipping operations for Wednesday, June 4, 2025, providing essential updates for shipping agents, logistics companies, importers, and exporters.

The report summarizes vessel activity at the port over the past 24 hours, including ship arrivals, departures, and ongoing cargo handling operations.

Port Qasim, one of Pakistan’s key maritime gateways, continues to manage a significant volume of cargo traffic, maintaining smooth port operations despite growing demands on its infrastructure. According to the latest update issued at 0800 hours, multiple vessels engaged in both loading and unloading activities at various terminals.

During this reporting period, two vessels completed their operations and sailed from Port Qasim. The M.V. Magnum Force departed after unloading 51,753 metric tons of coal, while the M.T. Chemroad Jupiter completed discharging 18,374 metric tons of phosphoric acid. Both ships were handled efficiently by their respective agents, GSA (Pvt) Ltd. and Al-Pine Marine, ensuring minimal disruption to port operations.

Simultaneously, the port reported the berthing of three new vessels. The M.V. Hansa Africa, carrying containers, berthed at Qasim International Terminal (QICT), managed by GAC Shipping. Another major vessel, M.T. Al Thakhira, arrived with a consignment of 140,262 metric tons of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and docked at the EETL terminal. Additionally, M.V. DSI Phoenix began discharging 58,921 metric tons of coal at the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT), also under the agency of GSA (Pvt) Ltd.

These shipping movements highlight the ongoing strength of maritime trade and port operations in Pakistan. Port Qasim continues to play a vital role in supporting the country’s economic activity through efficient shipping logistics and terminal management.
