Karachi, March 26, 2026: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Thursday, offering key insights into vessel movements and port activity over the past 24 hours.
According to the latest update issued at 8:00 AM (PKT), multiple vessels carrying essential commodities were handled at Port Qasim, highlighting continued maritime trade activity despite global economic fluctuations.
Among the departing vessels, M.V. TIAN FU sailed with a shipment of wind power equipment totaling 3,761 metric tons, while M.T. VIRGO departed carrying 37,965 metric tons of motor gasoline (MOGAS). These shipments reflect ongoing energy and infrastructure-related imports and exports through the port.
On the arrival side, several vessels berthed during the reporting period. M.T. NAVIGATOR ARIES docked with 11,196 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), while M.T. CELSIUS MIDDELFART arrived with 2,000 metric tons of acetic acid. Additionally, container vessel M.V. HANSA EUROPE berthed at the terminal, supporting Pakistan’s containerized trade operations.
Bulk cargo activity also remained strong, with M.V. CRYSTAL O arriving with a significant consignment of 26,350 metric tons of yellow peas. Another vessel, M.T. DEIRA GHAIR, also berthed during the day, adding to port traffic.
Meanwhile, vessel shifting operations included M.T. EXQUISITE moving from outer anchorage, and M.V. FORTUNE LEGACY, loaded with 69,900 metric tons of soybean seeds, repositioning within the port.
The report underscores steady shipping activity at Port Qasim, a vital hub for Pakistan’s trade and energy supply chain.
