Islamabad, January 31, 2025: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted that most districts of Sindh will experience cold and dry weather over the next 24 hours. The prevailing weather conditions are expected to persist across the province, affecting both urban and rural regions.
According to the PMD, cold and dry weather is anticipated in Sindh throughout Friday night, January 31, 2025. The forecast remains unchanged for Saturday, February 1, 2025, with dry conditions expected to dominate most districts in Sindh. No significant rainfall is predicted in the region, keeping temperatures on the lower side.

A westerly wave is currently affecting the upper parts of the country, bringing varying weather conditions across different provinces.
Friday’s Forecast
• Cold and dry weather will persist in most plain areas of the country, including Sindh.
• Partly cloudy conditions with light rain or snowfall are expected at isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir during the night.
Saturday’s Forecast
• Cold and dry weather will continue in most plain regions, including Sindh.
• Partly cloudy weather with a chance of rain, thunderstorms, or light snowfall is expected in isolated areas of northeast Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby hilly regions.
