Islamabad, December 10, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a fresh weather advisory predicting foggy conditions in several districts of Sindh over the next 48 hours.

The department also shared national-level weather updates, highlighting the persistence of cold and dry conditions across most regions.

Wednesday:

Dry weather is expected across most districts of Sindh, with cold conditions during nighttime. PMD warns that patchy fog may develop in Sukkur, Rohri, Ghotki, Larkana, Mohenjodaro and nearby areas during night hours.

Thursday:

Most districts will continue to experience dry weather, with cold conditions likely in the morning and night. Patchy fog is again expected in Sukkur, Rohri, Ghotki, Larkana, Mohenjodaro and surrounding areas during morning and night hours.

Synoptic Situation:

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of Pakistan, while a shallow westerly trough is expected to approach the western regions from Thursday.

Wednesday:

Cold and dry weather will dominate most parts of the country, with very cold conditions in hilly areas during nighttime. Smog, along with fog patches during night, is likely to persist in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

Thursday:

Cold and dry conditions are expected nationwide, with very cold weather in hilly areas during morning and night hours. Smog and patchy fog will continue to affect the plains of Punjab, KP and upper Sindh.
