Sony has officially introduced the Xperia 10 VII, the latest addition to its mid-range smartphone lineup.

The device brings a refreshed design, improved hardware, and long-term software support, making it a strong contender in the competitive Android market.

One of the most noticeable changes is the new camera design. The Xperia 10 VII sports a pill-shaped horizontal camera module reminiscent of Google’s Pixel devices. It houses a 50MP Sony Exmor RS primary sensor alongside a 13MP ultrawide lens, while selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP front camera.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Protection comes from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring durability against scratches and drops.

Under the hood, the Xperia 10 VII is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For those needing more space, the phone includes a microSD card slot that supports expansion up to 2TB.

The device also excels in battery performance with a 5,000mAh unit, promising reliable endurance for daily use. Running on Android 15, Sony has committed to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches, giving users long-term peace of mind. The phone also integrates Circle to Search and Google Gemini, enhancing productivity and AI-driven experiences.

Additional features highlight Sony’s commitment to user needs, including dual front-facing speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dedicated camera shutter button, and IP65/68 water and dust resistance. Despite these additions, the device remains slim at 8.3mm and lightweight at 168g.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII is available in three stylish colors—White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black. Pricing starts at €449 (approximately $525), positioning it competitively in the mid-range segment.

With its refined design, versatile camera system, strong battery, and long-term support, the Xperia 10 VII appears to be one of Sony’s most balanced mid-range smartphones to date.
