Karachi, April 5, 2024 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast predicting hot weather conditions in the southern region of the country for Saturday, April 6, 2024.

According to the PMD’s weather forecast for April 5, 2024, predominantly dry weather is anticipated across most parts of Pakistan, with particularly hot conditions expected in the southern areas.

Friday, April 5, 2024, witnessed dry weather prevailing across the country, with heightened temperatures recorded in the southern regions. However, Larkana experienced light rainfall amounting to 1mm.

Providing insights into the synoptic situation, the PMD noted that continental air masses are currently prevailing over most parts of Pakistan.

Recorded highest maximum temperatures for the day were observed in Jacobabad at 40°C, with Khairpur and Padidan closely following at 39°C.
