Hollywood star Tom Holland has given fans an exciting update about his return as Peter Parker in the upcoming Marvel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The 29-year-old actor, who first appeared as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, revealed that he was directly involved in the process of designing his new superhero suit for the highly anticipated movie.

In a recent interview with LADbible, Holland opened up about how special it felt to contribute to the creative design of his latest Spider-Man costume. “What’s been really fun about this most recent movie is designing the suit and being a part of that process and understanding what we wanted to try and achieve,” he shared.

According to Holland, the design process was not just about aesthetics but also about storytelling. He explained that he focused on the story behind the suit, paying attention to key details such as why the costume features its iconic red and blue colors.

The actor emphasized that his main priority is making the new film live up to the high standards set by its predecessor. “I think with anything, it’s all about what’s in front of you, and right now what’s in front of us is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and focusing on making that movie worthy of the last film. I have been actively sifting through the internet and trying to best understand what it is that the fans want,” Holland added.

Fans will also be thrilled to see Holland star alongside his real-life fiancée Zendaya, who reprises her role as MJ. The cast further includes Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Jacob Batalon, making it one of the most star-studded Spider-Man projects yet.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is already generating huge buzz among Marvel fans worldwide and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026. With Tom Holland not only reprising his role but also contributing creatively to the iconic Spider-Man suit, the film promises to bring a fresh and exciting chapter to the beloved superhero franchise.
