Spider-Man Filming Resumes After Tom Holland Injury

Entertainment World

The cast of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day is officially back on track, resuming shooting in Basingstoke after lead actor Tom Holland’s recent head injury temporarily halted production.

Holland, 29, who reprises his role as Peter Parker, was seen performing a dramatic stunt in Hampshire, where the streets around Fanum House and Mountbatten House were transformed into a replica of New York City. The film crew recreated the city’s concrete jungle, giving fans a glimpse of Spider-Man’s familiar world.

In another sequence, the Uncharted star was spotted surrounded by armed soldiers wielding prop weapons, adding intensity to the action-packed shoot. It is still unclear whether Holland himself donned the iconic red-and-blue Spider suit during these scenes, or if a stunt double filled in while he continues to recover.

This update comes shortly after the Spider-Man actor reassured fans about his health. On September 20, Holland shared a heartfelt Instagram message from The Brothers Trust gala, thanking his family and supporters while confirming that he was feeling better after the injury he sustained a day earlier.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Brand New Day features Holland alongside Zendaya, Mark Ruffalo, and Jon Bernthal. The highly anticipated Marvel blockbuster is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on July 31, 2026, with expectations already soaring among Spider fans eager to see Peter Parker swing back into action.
