SRB confirms no further extension for AIT return filing

Sindh Revenue Board

Karachi, November 11, 2025 – The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has announced that there will be no further extensions for filing Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) returns beyond November 15, 2025.

In an official communication, the SRB reminded all taxpayers liable to pay agricultural income tax that November 15, 2025, is the final date for submitting AIT returns. No additional extensions will be granted under any circumstances.

The board highlighted that an online registration, filing, and payment module is available on the SRB portal, allowing taxpayers to submit their returns easily and securely. The SRB encouraged all AIT payers to complete the filing process promptly to comply with the legal requirements.

Previously, the SRB had extended the filing deadline multiple times. The original submission date was September 30, 2025, then extended to October 31, 2025, and later to November 15, 2025, giving taxpayers extra time to avoid penalties.

To facilitate accurate and timely submissions, the SRB has enhanced its digital filing portal, allowing users to register using their CNIC and active mobile number. The platform also supports secure payments through banking apps, ATMs, or over-the-counter transactions.

As part of its digital transformation initiative, SRB provides tutorial videos, step-by-step guidelines, and FAQs on its website to assist taxpayers in navigating the filing process efficiently.

The SRB urged all agricultural income taxpayers to take full advantage of the digital system and file their returns before November 15, 2025, to avoid fines, penalties, or legal consequences.

This move reflects SRB’s commitment to maximizing compliance while simplifying the filing process for all stakeholders, ensuring a more transparent and efficient taxation system in Sindh.
