SRB introduces online agricultural income tax return facility

Sindh Revenue Board

Karachi, September 19, 2025 – The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has rolled out an online agricultural income tax return form, aiming to make tax compliance easier and more accessible for farmers and landowners across the province.

According to SRB, the new form has been issued for the tax period covering January to June 2025. It is available through the dedicated Agricultural Income Tax portal, where taxpayers can register, submit their returns, and make payments in a secure and efficient manner.

The initiative is designed to modernize the tax payment process by integrating multiple digital payment channels. Taxpayers can now pay their agricultural income tax through mobile applications, automated teller machines (ATMs), and over-the-counter services at various commercial bank branches. This move not only reduces paperwork but also saves time for individuals engaged in the agricultural sector who often face challenges in traveling to tax offices.

The SRB has urged all taxpayers liable under the Agricultural Income Tax Act to settle their dues for the first half of 2025 through this newly launched system. Officials added that the digital platform ensures transparency, ease of use, and real-time tracking of payments, which will further encourage compliance.

For guidance and assistance, taxpayers have been advised to reach out to the SRB helpline, where representatives are available to resolve queries and provide technical support for smooth filing.
