KARACHI: Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has posted a significant growth of 23 per cent during the month of November 2022, according to a statement issued on Thursday.

The SRB collected 13.50 billion during the month of November 2022 as compared with 11.01 billion in the same month of the last year.

During the first five months of the current fiscal year 2022-2023, the SRB collected Rs62.74 billion as compared with the collection of Rs51.26 billion in the corresponding months of the last fiscal year, showing an increase of 22 per cent.

The provincial revenue authority attributed the success in achieving the phenomenal revenue growth of 23 per cent during November 2022 despite the economic slowdown caused by the recent floods, to the continued trust and cooperation of the taxpayers and the support of the provincial government besides the relentless efforts of the SRB officers in relation to enforcement and recovery.
