Sri Lanka U19 Set for Cricket Tour to Pakistan in October

Sri Lanka U19 is gearing up for an exhilarating cricket tour to Pakistan, scheduled to commence on October 12th. During this tour, they will lock horns with Pakistan U19 in a series featuring one four-day and five one-day matches.

Cricket enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing all the action at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium from October 15 to October 31.

The tour is set to kick off with a thrilling four-day game on October 15th, with the first ball bowled at 10:00 AM PKT. Subsequently, cricket fans can mark their calendars for the one-day matches, which are slated to take place from October 22nd to October 31st, with the first delivery scheduled for 09:30 AM PKT.

For aspiring cricketers eyeing the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2024, it’s important to note that players born on or after September 1, 2004, will be eligible for selection.

This tour marks Pakistan U19’s second bilateral series this year. In April, they ventured to Bangladesh, engaging in a series featuring one four-day, five one-day, and one T20 match.

Pakistan U19 emerged victorious in all three formats, including a 4-1 win in the five-match one-day series. Last November, Bangladesh U19 embarked on a tour of Pakistan, participating in a series consisting of one four-day, three one-day, and two T20 matches in Multan.
