Karachi, March 20, 2026 – Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has officially unveiled its gas supply schedule for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026, outlining timings to ensure smooth availability during the festive period while managing load efficiently.
In an official statement, SSGC said it has taken necessary steps to facilitate domestic consumers during Eid holidays, aiming to provide maximum convenience amid increased gas demand.
According to the announced schedule, gas supply will remain uninterrupted on Chand Raat (the moon sighting night) and continue throughout the night into the first day of Eid until midnight.
For the nights between the first and second days of Eid, and second and third days, gas supply will be temporarily suspended from 12:00am to 6:00am. However, supply will resume daily from 6:00am and continue until midnight.
From the third day of Eid onwards, gas will be available from 6:00am to 10:00pm. After this period, the system will revert to the pre-Ramazan load management schedule, under which gas supply remains suspended overnight from 10:00pm to 5:30am.
SSGC has also advised consumers to report any supply-related complaints through its 24-hour helpline for prompt assistance during the holidays.
Meanwhile, Pakistan is set to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday, March 21, 2026, after the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirmed that no credible sighting of the Shawwal moon was reported across the country.
The announcement comes as millions prepare for Eid celebrations, with authorities striving to ensure uninterrupted essential services during one of the most significant religious festivals in Pakistan.
