KARACHI, April 10 – Supernet Technologies Limited said on Friday its subsidiary, Supernet Secure Solutions Private Limited, has secured a five-year cybersecurity contract from one of Pakistan’s largest banks, reinforcing its presence in the country’s financial technology sector.
In a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company said the deal marks the second consecutive term of engagement with the client, following the successful completion of a previous five-year contract awarded in 2021.
The renewed agreement includes deployment of an upgraded cybersecurity framework aimed at strengthening the bank’s defense systems against evolving digital threats. The contract, valued in the multi-million U.S. dollar range, will cover endpoint security solutions for more than 10,000 employees across the country.
Company officials said the enhanced solution is designed to address key cyber risk areas, particularly those linked to endpoint vulnerabilities, which remain a major concern for financial institutions globally.

In addition to this contract, Supernet Secure Solutions is already providing a three-year privileged access management system to the same client, along with cybersecurity support for its international operations.
The repeat engagement highlights the client’s continued confidence in Supernet’s capabilities and underscores the growing demand for robust cybersecurity infrastructure in Pakistan’s banking sector, which has seen increased digital adoption in recent years.
Industry analysts say financial institutions are investing heavily in cybersecurity to counter rising threats, including data breaches and ransomware attacks, as more services shift online.
Supernet said the new contract is expected to have a positive financial impact over its duration, contributing to revenue growth and strengthening its position as a key provider of cybersecurity solutions in the region.
