Limited to 300 units, the new three-door Jimny Heritage brings retro styling upgrades and automatic transmission at a higher price.
Suzuki Australia has brought back the Jimny Heritage special edition, but this time the limited-run three-door off-roader comes with an automatic transmission for the first time. The new edition is restricted to just 300 units and has already opened for orders.
The Suzuki Jimny Heritage price starts at $42,490, making it $1,500 more expensive than the standard model. Each vehicle will carry an individual build number, with this final batch numbered from 301 to 600.
The latest Heritage edition follows a 300-unit three-door version launched in Australia in 2023, which was available exclusively with a manual gearbox. Suzuki later introduced a five-door Heritage model in 2024, also with a manual transmission.
Retro Styling With Heritage Details
The special edition adds several exterior touches designed to give the compact SUV a distinctive retro appearance. These include red front and rear mudflaps, Heritage exterior graphics, a dedicated cargo tray and a numbered Heritage badge.
Superior White is included as the standard colour, while buyers choosing Jungle Green or Medium Grey will have to pay an additional $745.
Engine, Automatic Gearbox and 4WD
Power comes from Suzuki’s familiar 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 75kW and 130Nm. The engine is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range four-wheel-drive system.
The Jimny Heritage also retains the model’s 210mm ground clearance, supporting its off-road-focused character. Other standard features include 15-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 9.0-inch infotainment display.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included, while the automatic version gains adaptive cruise control.
Strong Demand for the Jimny
The Jimny continues to be Suzuki Australia’s strongest-selling model. Between January and August 2026, the company sold 4,971 examples, significantly ahead of the Swift and Fronx.
With only 300 three-door Heritage models available, the latest edition marks the final Heritage series for the three-door Jimny in Australia’s market.
