Suzuki Pakistan is gearing up for a major reveal at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025, as the company has teased the launch of its new vehicle on its official Facebook page.
If introduced, the Fronx will mark Suzuki’s entry into the compact crossover SUV segment, a category that continues to gain strong traction among Pakistani car buyers seeking affordable yet feature-rich vehicles.
Pricing and Market Positioning
Industry sources suggest that the Suzuki Fronx may be priced between PKR 6 million and PKR 7 million, positioning it as a competitive option against rivals such as the Kia Stonic, Toyota Yaris Cross, and MG ZS. With rising demand for practical and fuel-efficient crossovers in Pakistan, the Fronx could quickly become one of Suzuki’s most sought-after models upon launch.
Exterior Design and Key Features
Although official specs for the Pakistan-specific model are yet to be confirmed, features from the international version offer a strong indication of what customers can expect.
The Suzuki Fronx boasts a stylish coupe-inspired roofline and a modern design highlighted by LED headlights with DRLs, a split-lamp setup, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Practical exterior elements like electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors, privacy glass, and a 170mm ground clearance make it suitable for city driving as well as light off-road conditions.
Interior Comfort and Technology
Inside, the Fronx is equipped with premium technology and convenience features. A 9-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and voice command support is expected. Higher-end trims may offer a head-up display, wireless charging, rear AC vents, push-start ignition, and keyless entry. The cabin will likely provide ample storage space, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and automatic climate control to enhance comfort for both drivers and passengers.
Engine, Efficiency, and Safety
Internationally, the Fronx comes with a 1.5L DualJet petrol engine paired with Suzuki’s SHVS mild-hybrid system. It produces approximately 77kW and 138Nm of torque, available with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission options. Expected fuel efficiency stands at 5.4L/100 km, making it a strong option for daily commuters.
Safety features may include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-start assist, ESP, adaptive cruise control, ISOFIX mounting points, and a 360-degree camera system.
