Sydney Sweeney, who earned widespread acclaim for her portrayal of Cassie Howard in HBO’s hit series Euphoria, is keeping fans guessing as anticipation builds for season three, set to premiere next year.
Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming film The Housemaid, the actress declined to reveal any details about the new season. When asked about Euphoria season three, Sweeney responded simply, “I can’t tell you anything,” reinforcing the show’s tradition of secrecy surrounding its plot developments.
While Sweeney remained tight-lipped, her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi shared candid thoughts on a different issue impacting the entertainment industry: artificial intelligence in Hollywood. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Elordi strongly criticized the growing use of AI, expressing frustration with the ongoing discourse.
“As a human being, I have no tolerance for it—nor the ever-encroaching, constant conversation we keep having about it,” Elordi said, adding that he would rather focus on simple, human experiences such as reading, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life away from screens.
The actor also reflected on finding beauty beyond filmmaking, noting his appreciation for art, photography, music, and everyday moments. “You can still hug your friend. I can still pat my dog. There’s still so much to care about and so much to love,” he said, emphasizing optimism amid widespread cultural pessimism.
HBO has confirmed that Euphoria season three is scheduled to air on HBO Max in 2026, with fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter of the acclaimed series.
