The wrestling world mourns the loss of a true icon, Rey Mysterio Sr., whose real name was Miguel Ángel López Días. The renowned Mexican luchador passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 66, according to his family. His death comes as a second tragic blow to the Mysterio family, following the passing of Roberto Gutierrez, Rey Mysterio Jr.’s father and Dominik Mysterio’s grandfather, on November 17, 2024, at the age of 76.
