    FBR transfers 11 senior IR officers of BS-20-21

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday notified transfers and postings of 11 senior officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) in BS-20-21 with immediate effect and until further orders.

    01. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad Tunio (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from the post of Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Bahawalpur.

    02. Syed Maroof Gilani (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office, Bahawalpur from the post of Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad.

    03. Qaiser Iqbal (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation (Inland Revenue), Islamabad from the post of Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Peshawar.

    04. Syed Nadeem Hussain Rizvi (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Member, (TPA) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from the post of Chief Commissioner, Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore.

    05. Asim Ahmad (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Member, (IT) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from the post of Director General, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation (Inland Revenue), Islamabad.

    06. Sardar Ali Khawaja (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Regional Tax Office, Peshawar from the post of Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Sargodha.

    7 Dr. Hamid Ateeq Sarwar (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) is presently posted as Member, (Inland Revenue Policy Wing) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad, he is assigned the additional charge of the post of Member (FATE), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad in addition to his own duties, till the posting of a regular incumbent.

    08. Ms. Amina Hassan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore from the post of Director General, (Special Initiative) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad. The officer is also assigned the additional charge of the post of Director General (Special Initiative), FBR (HQ), Islamabad in addition to her duties, till the posting of a regular incumbent.

    09. Abdul Hameed Memon (Inland Revenue Service/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Director General, (Retail) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad from the post of Chief, (ST&FE) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad.

    10. Muhammad Imtiaz (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20) has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS) Regional Tax Office, Sargodha from the post of Chief Coordinator, Chief Coordinator Computer Wing (Income Tax), Islamabad.

    11. Tariq Mustafa Khan (Inland Revenue Service/BS-20) has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue (OPS) Regional Tax Office, Gujranwala from the post of Commissioner, Corporate Regional Tax Office, Karachi.

    The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday in a major reshuffle transferred and posted 35 officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) from BS-17 to BS-21 with immediate effect and until further orders.

    IRS cadre strength increases to 1,254

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is working with 1,254 officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of BS-17 to BS-22, according to a notification issued on Wednesday.

    The FBR said that consequent upon the approval of the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the creation of additional posts in Inland Revenue Service conveyed vide letter dated June 29, 2019, cadre strength of IRS under administrative control of FBR with effect from June 29, 2019 will be as under:

    BS-22: 05

    BS-21: 51

    BS-20: 177

    BS-19: 256

    BS-18: 383

    BS-17: 382

    The prime minister approved creation of 25 additional posts in IRS including BS-21 07, BS21 07, BS-19 01, BS-18 06 and BS-17 04.

    The FBR also sent a communication to Accountant General of Pakistan for arranging financial expenditures for such posts.

    FBR promotes IRS officers to BS-21, BS-20

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday notified promotions of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) officers to BS-20 and BS-21 on regular basis with immediate effect.

    The following BS-20 officers of Inland Revenue Service are promoted to BS-21 on regular basis with immediate effect :

    01. Dr.Lubna Ayub

    02. Shaban Bhatti

    03. Javed Ahmed

    04. Abdul Hameed Memon

    The officers already posted / working against BS-21 posts on OPS basis will actualize their promotions against the same. For actualization of promotion of the remaining officers, their transfer / posting orders will be issued separately.

    The officer at Sr. No. 3 will actualize his promotion from the date he returns from deputation and joins FBR.

    The following BS-19 officers of Inland Revenue Service are promoted to BS-20 on regular basis with immediate effect :

    01. Pir Khalid Ahmed Qureshi

    02. Mohy ud Din Ismail

    03. Zia Agro

    04. Arshad Nawaz Chheena

    05. Behzad Anwar

    The FBR said that the officers already posted / working against BS-20 posts on OPS basis will actualize their promotions against the same.

    For actualization of promotion of the remaining officers, their transfer / posting orders will be issued separately.

    The officers if drawing special allowance prior to this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.

    The FBR congratulates the aforementioned officers on their promotion.

    FBR notifies promotions of Customs officers into BS-21

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday notified promotions of four Pakistan Customs officers of BS-20 into BS-21 on regular basis with immediate effect.

    The following officers have been promoted to BS-21 on regular basis:

    01. Faiz Ahmed

    02. Gul Rehman

    03. Dr. Fareed Iqbal Qureshi

    04. Ahmed Raza Khan.

    The FBR said that the officers, who are presently posted against BS-21 posts on OPS, may actualize their promotions against their respective BS-21 positions.

    Posting of the remaining officers will be notified separately.

    The officers, if drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification, shall continue to draw this allowance on their promotion.

    The FBR congratulates the officers on their promotion.
