    Honda Pakistan increases prices of motorcycles

    KARACHI: Atlas Honda Limited has increased the prices of the motorcycles in the wake of high inflation in the country and restrictions to import raw materials.

    Considering the current economic situation of the country, the government had restored to stringent measures including minimizing the import of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits and raw materials, the company’s supply chain had also been disrupted by such measures.

    Following are the increased prices of Honda motorcycles which will be implemented from November 01, 2022:

    The price of Honda CD 70 has been increased by Rs5,000 to Rs121,500, from Rs116,500,

    The price of Honda CD 70 Dream has been increased by Rs5,400 to Rs129,900 from Rs124,500.

    The price of Honda Pridor has been increased by Rs6,000 to Rs161,900 from Rs155,900.

    The price of Honda CG 125 has been increased by Rs6,000 to Rs185,900 from Rs179,900.

    The price of Honda CG 125 SE has been increased by Rs8,600 to Rs219,500 from Rs210,900.

    The price of Honda CB 125F has been increased by Rs10,000 to Rs283,900 from 273,900.

    The price of Honda CB 150F has been increased by Rs15,000 to Rs353,900 from Rs338,900.

    The price of CB 150F SE has been increased by Rs15,000 to Rs357,900 from Rs342,900.

    No tax imposed on motorcycles, auto rickshaws: FBR

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Thursday said that it has not imposed any tax on motorcycles and auto rickshaws.

    “The new circulating about imposition of tax on motorcycle and auto rickshaws by FBR is baseless and false, the FBR clarified and strongly refuted this baseless news.

    The FBR clarified that no change or increase in tax has been levied on motor vehicles under section 231B and 234 of Income Tax Ordinance-2001.

    Further, there is no suggestion under consideration to levy tax on Motorcycle and Auto Rickshaws.

    “The tax is levied only on cars as per Income Tax Ordinance-2001,” the FBR said.

    The government is working to provide facilities to the less income segment of the society.
