    FBR announces major reshuffle; transfers 41 customs officers of BS-17-18

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday announced major reshuffle in Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) and transferred and posted 41 officers of BS17 and BS-18 with immediate effect and until further order.

    The FBR notified transfers and postings of following officers:

    01. Ms. Tayyaba Bukhari (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-18) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Lahore from the post of Deputy Director, Directorate of Input Output Coefficient Organization (North), Lahore.

    02. Khaldun Ul Haq (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-18) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Gilgit-Baltistan from the post of Deputy Director, Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation, FBR, Islamabad.

    03. Mohammad Rehan Akram (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-18) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Lahore from the post of Deputy Director, Directorate of Reforms and Automation (Customs), Karachi.

    41. Muhammad Saleem (SPSC/BS-17) on promotion has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director, Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs), Karachi from the post of SPS, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Karachi.

    The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday notified promotions of Superintendents, Principal Appraiser, and Superintendent Preventive of Customs Department are promoted to the post of Assistant Collector (BS-17) in Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) with immediate effect and until further orders.

    The FBR said that on their promotion the existing posts of Superintendent/ Principal Appraiser/ Superintendent Preventive held by them are up-graded to BS-17 as personal to them till their posting against regular posts of Assistant Collector.

    Their promotion will take effect from the date of their charge assumption.

    The FBR further said that they will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period, not exceeding one year, provided that if no order is issued by the day following the termination of probationary period, the appointment shall deem to be held until further order.

    The officers already drawing Performance Allowance equal to 100 percent of basic pay will continue to draw it on their promotion.

    six months from the date of their promotion.

    The officers, who are drawing performance allowance, will continue to draw the same after promotion.

    The officers appearing at Serial No. 5,7 & 9 will actualize their promotion from the date they return from deputation and join FBR.

    The officers mentioned at Sr. No. 1, 2 & 3 may actualize their promotion against their present places of posting in BS-19.

    In a notification issued on Monday, the FBR while exercising powers under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, suspended Mansab Shah, Inspector, BS-16, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Lahore with immediate effect for a period of three months.

    The FBR said that the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday promoted 17 officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) from BS-17 to BS-18 with immediate effect.

    The following officers have been promoted with immediate effect:
