Islamabad, August 2, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a fresh alert, warning that monsoon rains in August 2025 are expected to be stronger and more frequent than usual. According to the PMD, various weather models suggest that many areas across Pakistan will receive above-normal monsoon rainfall this month.
