FBR transfers customs officers of BS-18-19

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday issued a notification regarding the transfers and postings of BS-18 and BS-19 officers of the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS).

The changes were made with immediate effect and will remain in place until further orders. These administrative adjustments are part of the FBR’s ongoing efforts to ensure optimal functioning and efficiency within the customs operations across Pakistan.

List of Transfers and Postings

The following officers have been reassigned:

1. Muhammad Ali Malik (BS-19) has been transferred from his position as Deputy Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East) in Karachi to serve as Secretary at the Federal Board of Revenue Headquarters in Islamabad.

2. Kamran Ali Rana (BS-19) has been moved from his role as Deputy Director at the Directorate General of Transit Trade in Karachi to become the Additional Director at the Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs) in Karachi.

3. Riaz Hussain (BS-19) has been reassigned from Deputy Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (East) in Karachi to Additional Collector at the Office of the Chief Collector (Enforcement) in Quetta.

4. Ms. Saleha Zakir Shah (BS-19) has been transferred from her position as Deputy Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate in Islamabad to Additional Director at the Directorate of Post Clearance Audit in Islamabad.

5. Ms. Saima Ayyaz (BS-19), who was serving as Deputy Director at the Directorate of Training & Research (Customs) in Lahore, has now been promoted to Additional Director at the same directorate.

6. Ms. Kanwal Ali (BS-19) has been transferred from Deputy Director at the Directorate of IPR Enforcement (Central) in Lahore to Additional Director at the Directorate General of IPR Enforcement (North) in Islamabad.

7. Aftab Ullah Shah (BS-19) has been moved from Deputy Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West) in Karachi to Additional Director at the Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs) in Karachi.

8. Ali Zeb Khan (BS-19) has been promoted from Deputy Director at the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR in Lahore to Additional Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate in Sialkot.

9. Naveed Abbas Memon (BS-19), previously serving as Deputy Collector at the Office of the Chief Collector Customs Appraisement (South) in Karachi, has been appointed as Additional Collector at the same office.

10. Imran Razzaq (BS-19) has been transferred from Deputy Collector at the Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West) in Karachi to Additional Collector at the Office of the Chief Collector, Enforcement (South) in Karachi.

11. Mr. Khial Muhammad (BS-18) has been moved from his role as Deputy Director at the Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR in Multan to Additional Collector (OPS) at the Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive in Peshawar.

Promotions and Performance Allowances

The FBR stated that the officers listed from serial numbers 1 to 10 have been transferred following their recent promotions. The elevation of these officers is a testament to their performance and commitment to their duties, reflecting the FBR’s policy of recognizing and rewarding competent officers within its ranks.

Additionally, the FBR assured that officers who were drawing performance allowances prior to this notification will continue to receive these allowances at their new postings.
