Travis Kelce remains utterly smitten with Taylor Swift, as he once again showered his pop sensation girlfriend with praise on the latest episode of his podcast, New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
During the Wednesday, January 29th episode, the NFL star, 35, couldn’t hide his admiration while recounting a heartwarming interaction Swift had with some of their friends during the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest game at Arrowhead Stadium. The Kelce brothers welcomed their friends and podcast contributors, Brandon Borders and Jake Chatzky—affectionately known on the show as “Intern Brandon” and “Jets Jake”—to share their experience of meeting the Anti-Hero hitmaker in the VIP suite.
Borders, still in awe of the moment, described how Swift’s warmth and attentiveness immediately set the tone for an unforgettable encounter.
“We walked in the door, and—I’ll give this away—she said our names immediately. It was like, ‘Oh my God. Brandon, Jake, finally!’ We were floored,” Borders recalled, emphasizing how deeply personal and engaging the global superstar was from the very first moment.
The grand welcome took them by surprise, making an immediate impression. “Taylor’s warmth shook us instantly,” Borders added, admitting that any initial nervousness quickly faded due to her effortless charm.
Travis Kelce, glowing with pride over his girlfriend’s kindness, chimed in, “She knows how to break the ice. She does. She’s a pro at it.”
Borders humorously speculated that Swift might have sensed their initial nerves, joking, “She probably read that Jake and I were terrified. She was like, ‘I’m sensing a lot of middle school dance energy from these two.’”
Still riding high on the encounter, Borders continued, detailing how Swift went above and beyond in making them feel special. “She gave us some creative compliments,” he said, before playfully boasting, “Let me be very clear. You can’t tell me anything for the rest of my life. I’m gonna be obnoxious about this. Do you know who you’re talking to? From now on, I’m untouchable.”
Swift’s ability to make everyone around her feel seen and valued continues to leave a lasting impact—not just on Travis Kelce, but on those lucky enough to cross her path.
