Taylor Swift is reportedly feeling “exposed” after an alleged private text exchange with longtime friend Blake Lively was revealed in an unsealed court document earlier this month, according to a new report.

The development comes as Lively prepares for her upcoming legal trial involving her It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni. As part of the ongoing proceedings, court filings reportedly included emails and text messages exchanged between Lively and several high-profile figures, including Taylor Swift, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and other industry figures.

A source told Us Weekly that the Grammy-winning singer was deeply unsettled by the public release of her private messages.

“It’s honestly been really hard for Taylor,” the insider claimed.

According to the source, Swift felt her privacy had been breached when her personal conversations were disclosed in court records.

“Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated,” the source said, adding, “Like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore.”

The insider further noted that the situation “doesn’t sit well with her,” especially given Swift’s efforts to keep her personal communications out of the public eye.

For context, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in late 2024, alleging sexual harassment and an orchestrated smear campaign. Baldoni has denied the allegations. He later countersued Lively, but his case was dismissed by the court in June 2025.

In May 2025, Baldoni’s legal team attempted to subpoena Swift, claiming Lively used her friendship with the pop superstar to gain creative control over the film. Swift’s representative swiftly denied the claims in a public statement.

“Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie,” the statement read. “She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film.”

One month later, Baldoni’s attorney withdrew the subpoena request, according to Lively’s legal team.

The case continues to draw widespread attention, highlighting growing concerns around celebrity privacy and the public exposure of personal communications through legal proceedings.
