Taylor Swift continues to make headlines off the concert stage, this time for her appearance in the Kansas City Chiefs’ new docuseries, The Kingdom.

The 35-year-old global pop superstar, who has been in a two-year relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce, has earned widespread praise for being his biggest supporter both on and off the field.

The docuseries, produced by Foolish Club Studios, takes viewers inside the Chiefs’ 2024 NFL season and their quest for a third consecutive Super Bowl victory. Director Kristen Lappas confirmed over the weekend that Swift is featured in the project, with “all of her images and likeness” officially approved for use. Lappas further commended the Eras Tour singer for being “very supportive” of Kelce and the team throughout the process.

However, Chiefs CMO and Foolish Club Studios COO Lara Krug clarified that Swift was not directly interviewed for the series. Instead, the focus remains on the Chiefs organization and their extended family. Still, Swift is portrayed as a dedicated fan, with Krug emphasizing that viewers will see her exactly how she wanted to be seen — as “a big fan of the community.”

The series also highlights the undeniable impact of Swift’s public support on the team’s growing popularity. Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, in a conversation with CNBC Sports, revealed that Swift’s connection to Kelce contributed to a 30 percent increase in the team’s fan base. He noted that much of this surge came from female fans, particularly younger audiences, during a record-breaking 2024–2025 football season.

“You definitely have to give Taylor a little bit of credit,” Hunt admitted, acknowledging how her influence expanded the Chiefs’ reach far beyond traditional football audiences.

Currently available for streaming on ESPN+ and Disney+, The Kingdom not only celebrates the Chiefs’ pursuit of victory but also showcases how Swift’s presence has boosted the team’s cultural footprint.

With both her music and her off-stage influence, Taylor Swift proves once again that she is shaping conversations far beyond the pop world.
