Taylor Swift tightens security amid NFL appearances

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has reportedly scaled back her public appearances and tightened security measures amid ongoing safety concerns. The 35-year-old singer has faced multiple threats in the past, prompting her to become more selective about when and where she is seen in public.

Despite the heightened precautions, Swift continues to attend NFL games to support her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. While she is not as frequently seen in the stands as during previous seasons, Swift ensures she maintains privacy while enjoying the games.

An insider told the Daily Mail that the “Anti-Hero” singer “has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues,” referencing one of her infamous stalkers who has recently been off the grid. The source added, “She doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day. She wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe.”

Another reason for Swift skipping some early-season games was Kelce’s “not having the best season the first few weeks,” the insider noted. This prompted the singer to gradually reduce her public exposure while maintaining a presence at key games.

Despite speculation, Swift and her team have not requested that NFL networks avoid showing her on television. “There is always a camera in her direction; it’s just not as big a thing this year as in years past,” the source said.

This marks Swift’s third NFL season attending Chiefs games since she began dating Kelce in 2023. Fans can expect to see her occasionally in the stands, but the pop icon has clearly prioritized safety and discretion while continuing to support her fiancé on the field.
