Tecno is preparing to launch the Tecno Spark 40 in Pakistan, expanding its popular Spark lineup with a smartphone aimed squarely at budget-conscious users.
Priced at Rs 35,999, the upcoming device promises a balanced mix of modern software, a large battery, and a capable camera setup, making it an attractive option in the entry-level segment.
The Tecno Spark 40 will be available in four stylish color options: Titanium Grey, Veil White, Mirage Blue, and Ink Black. In terms of design, the phone measures 165.6 x 77 x 7.7 mm and weighs 192 grams, offering a slim profile that should feel comfortable in daily use.
On the front, the Spark 40 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. While it doesn’t include official screen protection, the large display size makes it suitable for streaming, browsing, and social media consumption. The phone runs on Android 15 out of the box, which is a notable highlight at this price point and ensures access to the latest features and security updates.
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 40 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can further expand storage via a microSDXC card, which adds flexibility for media-heavy usage. While the GPU details haven’t been specified, the chipset should be capable of handling everyday tasks smoothly.
Photography is handled by a 50MP + AI dual rear camera setup, supported by an LED flash and video recording capabilities. On the front, the device sports an 8MP selfie camera with a dedicated front flash, making it suitable for selfies and video calls even in low-light conditions.
Powering the Spark 40 is a large 5,200mAh battery, designed to last through a full day of usage. Connectivity options include Dual SIM support, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, though 5G, NFC, and FM Radio are not included.
With its competitive price, modern Android version, and solid specs, the Tecno Spark 40 looks set to be a strong contender in Pakistan’s budget smartphone market once officially launched.
