Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after three to four rounds were fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, injuring two people and triggering a major police investigation.

According to Gulf News, Shroff was leaving a ground after playing football when the shooting occurred as a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor.

His driver sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. Another person, reportedly an autorickshaw driver, was also injured. Police have not disclosed the severity of either person’s injuries.

Mumbai Police launched an extensive investigation, deploying 15 teams to identify those responsible. Forensic personnel also collected evidence after officers cordoned off the area.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reportedly directed the police to investigate the incident swiftly and take strict action against those involved.

Shroff’s father, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, subsequently reassured reporters that his son was safe.

Meanwhile, a video circulated on social media in which a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit claimed responsibility for the shooting on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

However, the authenticity of the video and any alleged connection between the gang and the incident have not been independently established. Police have not officially confirmed the identity of the attackers or their motive.

The shooting has raised concerns about security in Mumbai, particularly surrounding high-profile public figures. Investigators are expected to examine forensic evidence and available footage as they work to establish the circumstances behind the attack.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities yet to announce any confirmed arrests or publicly establish responsibility for the shooting.
