Karachi, January 26, 2026: Bitcoin (BTC) showed mixed movement against both the US Dollar and Pakistani Rupee on Monday, reflecting ongoing volatility in the global cryptocurrency market. After witnessing notable fluctuations over the past week, the world’s largest digital currency recorded a modest recovery today.

As of January 26, 2026, 1 Bitcoin is trading at $87,506.06, marking an increase of $1,049.18, or 1.20 percent, compared to Sunday’s rate. Despite today’s rebound, Bitcoin remains lower on a weekly basis. Over the last seven days, the price of Bitcoin in US Dollars declined by $821.72, indicating short-term pressure amid shifting investor sentiment and global market uncertainty.

During the past week, Bitcoin experienced sharp swings, including a significant drop on January 20, followed by brief recoveries and another steep decline on January 25. On a monthly basis, however, the price has remained largely stable, slipping marginally by $17.28, or 0.02 percent, since late December 2025.

In the Pakistani market, Bitcoin also recorded gains on Monday. The value of 1 Bitcoin stood at Rs24,295,836.02, up by Rs291,301.10, or 1.20 percent, compared to the previous day. Despite this uptick, Bitcoin has lost Rs403,744.16 over the last seven days, highlighting sustained volatility in PKR terms.

On a 30-day basis, Bitcoin in Pakistani Rupees has declined by Rs224,352.28, reflecting both cryptocurrency price movements and exchange rate dynamics. Analysts note that Bitcoin’s short-term direction remains sensitive to global economic cues, regulatory developments, and investor risk appetite.
